New tractors and silo trailers at Ruta Transport
2024 Ruta Transport's fleet has been enriched by 5 silo trailers of the Spitzer Silo-Fahrzeugwerke brand with a capacity of 60 m³. These silos are liftable, so-called kip-trailers and, in addition to 45 m³ liftable trailers and 34 m³ and 37 m³ lie-flat trailers, allow Ruta to offer tailor-made solutions for various industries. Spitzer silo trailers feature lightweight aluminium and stainless steel construction and safety features to ensure driver safety and comfort when loading or unloading the materials being transported.
Ruta Transport began working with Spitzer in 2002, purchasing its first new cement semi-trailer at the time. In 2005, Ruta Transport signed a service contract with Spitzer and thus ensured a smoothly functioning technical base. Since then, Ruta Transport is an authorised service point for Spitzer Silo-Fahrzeugwerke silo trailers in Poland.
2024 Ruta Transport also purchased 11 Scania tractors, type R420A4x2NA. This brings their number in the company's fleet to 175 - Scania tractors account for 83% of this number. In addition to these, Ruta Transport also has DAF tractors. 2025 the company will have a further 16 Scania tractors, six of them for new trailers and ten to replace older tractors.
The new tractors feature the Euro 6 emission standard, which in Ruta Transport's fleet increases the proportion of vehicles that are more fuel-efficient and consequently significantly reduces the carbon footprint. The spacious cab, driving aids and safety systems increase driver comfort.
Ruta Transport specialises in the national and international road transport of neutral bulk materials of mineral origin in silos. It transports feed ingredients, neutral chemical materials, regranulates and road binders. The company has 270 employees, 75% of whom are drivers.
