Profession of mechanic driver is again one of the most needed professions in Poland.
In January 2025, the Minister of Education announced a forecast of the demand for employees in occupations of industrial education on the national and provincial labour market. The forecast identifies the demand for employees in individual occupations and indicates the direction in which the offer of industry education should develop.
In 2025, the national forecast includes an alphabetical list of 35 occupations for which there is projected to be a particular demand in the labour market due to their importance for national development. The forecast aims to support vocational education by stimulating the offer of vocational training schools.
Among the professions of particular importance for the state's development was mechanic driver (in a high seventh place). The results of the forecast confirm the validity of the activities carried out by Ruta Transport. As part of its CSR by organising, among other things, demonstration lessons for secondary school students, the company promotes the professions needed in the work of the transport company.
The first such document was published in 2019. The forecast of demand for employees in occupations of vocational education is intended to support targeted and adequate vocational education and thus contribute to counteracting unemployment among graduates of vocational education schools in Poland.
